Seaside Escape! One of my favorite places to find rest for my soul. It was here after a major change of plans for our trip to Seaside that as I sat before this glorious sunrise, I heard the soft whisper of - the pace of grace.
The Pace of Grace, what does that look like and mean for me?
Perhaps it is taking time to enjoy the moment without pre thinking the next ten tings to get done or even the next thing! Live in the moment. Pay attention to this moment in time for all it is worth.
I think there are some commonalities with the concepts of grcae and redemption.
Grace (V)- To lend or add beauty to something. AI Overview
To redeem (V) - to take action to recover something lost or pledged, often by payment, to exchange something for value, or to make something better or more acceptable. AI Overview
Ephesians 5:16 says "Redeeming the time ( or make the most of the time) because the days are evil."
Psalm 9-: 12 " So teach us to number our days, that we may present a heart of wisdom."
As I sit by this view pictured above for the next two weeks, I will ponder 'the pace of grace' and listen for the wisdom of the Lord in a world that demands more, and more.
Today, it is to be grateful for each moment of this day and be vocal in my gratitude rather than looking for what is next.
What do you need to do to find a 'grace pace" in the midst of your daily demands? What would fresh eyes show you if you took a moment to really see?
