Closed Door #1 - I Probably Know it Already!

Information - we live in a time of information overload and so much information to choose from. So you may ask - why should i sign up for another blog, is there really anything new that I don't already know?

Way back in the day of Ecclesiastes, it is attributed that King Solomon said, " there is nothing new under the sun."

There is truth to the concept that life on earth has cyclical patterns and so much is repeated as the pendulum of time swings back and forth.

And yet, what is old often becomes new again in the eyes of those who follow in our footsteps.

A wise man once encouraged me to have a mentor in every decade of ife. Well those mentors aged as did I and I had to keep adding mentors from younger and younger ages. It is often thought provoking and challenging as I listen to how the younger generations develop their perspectives. And then all of a sudden, I find the thing that draws us together and helps us learn from each other, in spite of our differences.

I want to invite you to journey with me and others this next year as we seek to learn to travel together in a trusted community and find ways to renew, build up, refresh our hearts in this season we are blessed to live in.
